So, I think I might actually start using this for real. I'm not sure yet. I want to take my LJ in a new, and weird, direction, just for fun, but I haven't really been actually posting much lately.
I think I might use this for actual life posts, and just keep the inane weirdness confined to my LJ space. I have no intention of abandoning LJ. I have too many friends there and I LIKE the way LJ works. I just think I might post more if I have definite ideas on what goes where, and keep them confined to their own containers.

Yeah yeah, I know what you're thinking...eeeww...LJ...but I have a bunch of old Usenet friends there (I've been on the net for a time span measured in decades, going back to when the only people on the net were the .gov, universities, and the telcos and computer companies that supplied all the bandwidth and hardware that makes it all go).
